French Twist is located between the Turtle Ledges and Hardbottom Cave. This shallow site consists of a series of spur and groove formations that wander from the center of French Reef to the North end. An old anchor embedded in the reef is one of the highlights here.

The sand patches and channels on French twist are home to Yellow Headed Jawfish, Stingrays, and Scorpionfish. Make sure to check under the many deep undercuts and ledges for Spotted Drums, Spotted Morays and Glassy Sweepers.

This site is 20 to 30 feet deep, rarely has current and is ideal for Open Water training, and all levels of certified divers.
