Train Wreck

The Train Wheel Wreck site is in the middle area of Elbow Reef just south of Mike's Wreck. Great place to see some fish, lobster, nurse sharks and some light wreckage that fell there many years ago.

The site gets it's name because a ship carrying train wheels sank on the reef and a train wheel as well as part of the wreck lies in about 20-30 feet of water. There is also about a 30 foot anchor chain among the wreckage that is covered with coral growth, so for some it is hard to spot.

Plenty of small ledges in this area teeming with tropical fish and it has a consistent shallow depth that makes it great for training dives.
